Umrah Visa Requirements (2010)

1. Visa requirements no longer require original documents (for proof of relationship, birth/marriage certificate..etc), photocopies are accepted.  Original documentation is required for Passport, 2 Pictures and Visa application form.
2. Visa application form (completed in block letter), two recent color photographs (4 x 6 cm taken on a white background), stapled  to the  application
3. Completed Umrah Agreement Form (provided above)
4. A Passport valid for at least 7  more months  from the application  date (a)  those with  multiple  nationalities must apply  on  Canadian passport (b)  Canadian  citizens must  all  have separate  passports  - even children
5. Copy of  air tickets  to  Jeddah with  confirmed  reservation from/to  Canada.
6. Ladies  & children  must provide proof  of  relationship (send  copy not original)  marriage certificate  for  wife, birth certificate for children  indicating  the name  of  both parents (if  Canadian  born required copy of long  birth  certificate indicating the  name of both  parents)
7. Non  Canadian  applicants must  provide a clear single page photocopy of their Canadian Permanent Resident Card (both sides).
8. International  vaccination certificate meningitis (Meningiencal) must be mentioned code ACYW 135  in  certificate and stamp & signed  by doctor. Only  valid for  3 years  (send copy of) make  sure  to take your  health  certificate to  Saudi  Arabia
9. Children under the age of 15 must provide a copy of an up to date Polio Record (photocopy only).
10. Make 2 copies of all required documentation including Passport and Visa application form.
11. For  those who  have  converted to Islam, a certificate of conversion from your  mosque is  required it must  be  an copy of and  signed by an imam & stamped  by  the mosque.
12. Courier Service for those outside the Greater Toronto Area (GTA): All documents required with return paid FedEx envelop only. (Please do not use any mailing service other than FedEx)
13. Copy of H1N1 Vaccination required.

IMPORTANT NEW RULES OF UMRAH VISA 

1. Copy of H1N1 Vaccination now required
2. Umrah visa valid for one month from the date of issue(must travel/enter Saudi Arabia within one month). The period of stay  In Saudi Arabia will be issued according to package
3. No overstay of purchased Package permitted.  Passenger’s who overstay the package purchased, have a high risk of being charged a penalty in Saudi Arabia and possibility of missing their flight home.   Baggia Travel & Tours Inc. will not be responsible for these penalties. See Legal Notice at the bottom of this page for further information.
4. Approvals that come from the Ministry  of  Hajj by website will automatically be cancelled after two weeks from the approval date if visas are not issued within the two weeks      period
5. Approval charges $125/person non-refundable once approval proceeds.
6. First entry into Saudi Arabia and First Exit out of Saudi Arabia (for Umrah) MUST be from Jeddah (and not Riyadh or Dammam).

• COMPLETED VISA APPLICATION.  <CALL FOR APPLICATION FORM STATUS>.
• 6 PICTURES ( 4 PP SIZE + 2 3/4 SIZE )AND PRINT NAME & PP NO BACK SIDE OF
  PICTURES
• CHILD UNDER 15 YEARS NEED POLIO RECORDS & MENINGITIS VACCINATION (Photocopy)
• PASSPORT VALID UNTIL JULY 2010
• ROUND TRIP AIR LINE TICKET TO JEDDAH OR MADINAH (NO OTHER LANDING IN THE KINGDOM) WITH CONFIRMED & FULLY BOOKED RETURN TICKET FROM SAUDI ARABIA
• INTERNATIONAL VACINATION AGAINST MENINGITS ACYW-135 MUST BE SIGNED WITH RUBBER STAMP ON PROPER VACINATION CARD OR BOOKLET ACCORIDING TO THE FOLLOWING DOSES:
• ONE (1) DOSE OF (ACYW135) FOR CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF TWO YEARS AND ALSO ADULT
• TWO (2) DOSE OF (A) FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THREE (3) MONTHS AND TWO (2) YEARS OF AGE
• NON CANADIAN APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT VALID RESIDENCY (PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD FRONT & BACK COPY ONLY)
• ALL WOMEN & CHILDREN PROCEEDING TO SAUDI ARABIA TO PERFORM HAJJ MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY MALE RELATIVE “MUHRAM" OFFICIAL PROOF OF FAMILY RELATIONSHIP IS REQUIRED (PHOTOCOPY MARRIAGE & BIRTH CERTIFICATE) IF CHILD IS CANADIAN BORN MUST PROVIDE LONG BIRTH REGISTRATION FORM (PHOTOCOPY) WITH PARENTS FULL NAME
• TWO BANK DRAFT MUST BE DRAWN ON ONE OF ACCREDITED BANK IN SAUDI ARABIA AS FOLLOWING AMOUNT AND NAME FOR EACH PASSENGER
•  1. SAUDI RIYAL 594.00   ($175 CAN Approx) “UNIFIED AGENT OFFICE IN JEDDAH”
•  2. SAUDI RIYAL 435.00   ($125 CAN Approx) “UNIFIED AGENT OFFICE IN JEDDAH”
